Slow Food ist ein Begriff der gleichnamigen Organisation, der als Ausdruck für genussvolles, regionales und bewusstes Essen geprägt wurde. Er steht im Gegensatz zum uniformen, globalisierten und angeblich genussfreien Fast Food. 

Die Nicht-Regierungs-Organisation wurde 1986 von dem Italiener Carlo Petrini gegründet, nachdem an der Spanischen Treppe in Rom eine McDonald’s-Filiale eröffnet wurde. (mehr…)
